PebblePad- the work you complete in PebblePad is referred to as an Asset. An Portfolio is an asset which is a detailed presentation that represents the skills and capabilities you have gained at La Trobe University and perhaps through your employment in an organisation.
You can use the Portfolio in a number of ways: Job applications Job appraisals For your promotion Context of your Portfolio in Pebble Pad or Voice Over Presentation Your Portfoliowill allow you to present your learnings about remuneration and performance in MGT5ARP.You will be able to showcase your personal, educational and career development.The Portfolio will provide a platform to display your achievements and a work in progress to build on throughout your professional career.Increase your employability through enhancing an online presence and professional profile. Designing your Portfolio Your Portfolio should be 1,400 words +/-10% and is worth 30% of the total assessment for this subject Name your Portfolio:use the following format – first name, family name/ePortfolio Welcome page:design a home page that introduces you, your values, career aspirations and add your photo Optional – includea 1 minute audio cliptalking about yourself (who you are and your career aspirations). This can be recorded on your smart device and uploaded to your ePortfolio CV/Resume: include information from your CV/resume – education, work experience, skills, and achievements – in PebblePad provide a copy of your CV or in the Voice Over PowerPoint Presentation ensure you provide all sections/points included in your CV. These parts of the Portfolio should be approximately400 words you can always add more particularly for your CV but any less than 400 might be a little vague. Portfolio Part A Part A:Remuneration System/s, Processes and Practices- select key pieces of work that relate to your skills, knowledge, abilities, experiences and critical information covered in the weekly topic readings and activities This section should be about500 words You will create/or will have created a Model of a Remuneration System include that in your Portfolio Be as creative as you can in developing the Model of a Remuneration System To support your Model of a Remuneration System you need to includethree processes/practicesthat will support the model. These could include conducting market research to compare the remuneration practices of other similar organisations, consultation with staff, training and numerous other practices Estimated word distribution across sections – the Model could represent one hundred words and each of the practices could be approximately 130 words Portfolio Part B Part B:Performance Management System/s, Approaches, Evaluation, Negotiations, Practices, Behaviours, Employment Relations, Regulations and Fair Work select key pieces of work that relate to your skills, knowledge, abilities, experiences and critical information covered in the weekly topic readings and activities This section should be about500 words You will create/or will have created a Model of a Performance Management System include that in your Portfolio Be as creative as you can in developing theModel of a Performance Management System To support your Model of a Performance Management System you need to includethree processes/practicesthat will support the model. These could include setting performance goals, performance reviews, performance appraisals and numerous other practices Estimated word distribution across sections – the Model could represent one hundred words and each of the practices could be approximately 130 words And include: Testimonials/Recommendations:what others think of you, your skills, abilities, work ethic. Note: Aim for at least 3 testimonials/recommendation from a variety of sources LinkedIn:Add your LinkedIn profile http link – please note this is optional Note: you can add sections to your portfolio from other subjects e.g. change management Important: Portfolio Part A- include the design elements of a remuneration system and produce one hybrid model, and explain at least three processes/practices. Portfolio Part B- include the design elements of a performance management system and produce one hybrid model, and explain at least three processes/practices Portfolio Part C- this section is set up for future works. We include the section now to demonstrate that you can showcase other skills and abilities here. Please note that there is the potential to add work completed across other subjects throughout your degree program. You may find other subjects will incorporate a Portfolio in assessments. Overall, the portfolio should representyour learnings from the course relative to remuneration and performance management systems and practices.
