The customer in this instance had no activation problems on the previous computer so the login portal was removed. As a senior technician, the suggested solution is to have the customer clear their Microsoft credentials and run the script “ospp.vbs” (“Common Office Activation Error Codes and Solutions for Office 365 and Office 2019”, 2020). This script is a Visual Basic Script and is designed to help customers troubleshoot Microsoft Office activation issues.To ensure that the customer follows the correct steps, it is important to explain that the customer needs to press “Start”, type “cmd”, right-click on the “Command Prompt” and select “Run as Administrator”.
