Each poster should contain the following elements: 1. A brief introduction. The introduction should include why you chose the topic and some background information about the topic. The introduction also should contain any connection to society in general. 2. At least one figure, illustration, graph, diagram, etc. Do you really think a poster with a bunch of words on it is interesting? NO! Also be sure that your poster contains a minimum of four unique compounds or structures. If you are having difficulty meeting this criterion, please let me know. 3. Include in your poster the relevance that your topic has to society in general. Keep in mind that some topics have a stronger connection to society than others (note that this information may be contained in element #6). 4. If you want an excellent grade, be sure to include the chemistry or science behind the topic. 5. For the main body of the poster, present the research that you have done. The research should involve the chemistry behind the topic, and why this is important to society. 6. At the end of the poster, write a short conclusion. Include what more you learned about the topic and its relevance to society. 7. Lastly, be sure to include references. No references = plagiarism!!
