Introduction: How has the author made the case for the research, convincing you of its uniqueness or that it is advancing scholarship in this particular area of research into ICHRM?
Literature review: Has the author adequately positioned his work within a wider body of theory on the subject? How has he done that? What kind of literature did the author review? What does that tell you about his main interest, focus, research paradigm? What has been left out?
Methodology: Has the author described the approach they took to the primary research and convinced you that his research design is appropriate to their topic and that therefore, his results will be reliable and valid? How has he done that? What choices were made regarding the methodology? What comments can you make about these choices? For example, is the sampling selection representative of the population? Are the questions used valid?
Findings: Has the author presented his most important results and supported them with evidence? What are these results and how convincing is the supporting evidence? Are the findings and evidence clearly presented? How easy is it to judge the validity of the findings?
Discussion: Has the author tied the significance of his findings back to the initial questions or objectives. How convincingly has he done that? How relevant are the points in the discussion section to the findings?
Conclusion: Has the author summarized where the research has taken us, how it has added to knowledge, what new questions or limitations are there for future work? How useful is the research and how applicable is it to different scenarios?
