Explain the functions of the cardiovascular, respiratory and muscular systems

Three major systems make up the human body. They are: The cardiovascular, respiratory, and musculoskeletal. All three systems have their own unique functions, yet they also work together to ensure the body’s overall health and wellbeing. Transporting oxygen throughout the body is part of the cardiovascular system. It includes the heart, blood vessels, and lungs. Blood is the lifeblood of cells. It contains oxygen and nutrients that are necessary for growth and maintenance. The lungs absorb oxygen from the atmosphere and release carbon dioxide. The blood vessels move oxygen, nutrients and unwanted materials among the organs. The exchange of oxygen, carbon dioxide between our bodies and the surrounding environment is the responsibility of the respiratory system. It includes the nasal, throat, trachea and bronchi. Because it takes in and exhale carbon dioxide, the nose is the main part of the respiratory system. The air is transported by the trachea, bronchi and alveoli to the alveoli where it is both absorbed and released.
