Is Computer Technology Relevant for the Next Decade.  Answer: The simple answer is yes. Nearly every part of our lives is now influenced by computers, and the trend is likely to continue for at least the next ten. Our world is rapidly changing and technology will make it easier for machines to evolve. Artificial intelligence (AI), for example, will likely expand beyond the current application, and AI will play an increasing role in future computing. (Chaidez 2021). Smaller portable computing devices are expected to allow people to connect to the internet anywhere and anytime. A new cloud computing technology, which will enable greater data capacities and share computing resources, is another advantage.   Over the next decade, our interaction with computers will change. Conversational interfaces, voice assistants, and speech-to-text technology allow us to speak to computers using natural language. Augmented reality may provide users with an enhanced experience using computers (Fore 2020).
