Adding two values_  This example demonstrates a function definition written in C language, which takes two integer values as parameters and returns their sum.  “int addTwoValues (int val1, int val2) {     int sum = val1 + val2;     return sum; }”. (Ram, 2015).  This function is called with two parameters int. val1-val2; it will return the sum of these values as int. sum. This function allows the user to save time, calculate two values quickly, and does not require any programming skills.   Functions are also beneficial because they allow the user to concentrate on the problem and not the details. Instead of having to write code that adds two numbers, you can call the function and pass in the parameters. It will then return the sum (Meers 2020).   This is a straightforward, yet powerful way to manage the complexity of programming.
