Learning and development programs can be evaluated using the Kirkpatrick Model, which has gained widespread acceptance around the world (Alsalamah & Callinan, 2021). The model evaluates formal and informal training methods on the basis of four dimensions, reaction, cognition and behavior. It also considers outcomes. The first level of criteria is learners’ responses to training. They are asked to rate the training on the basis of its interest, effectiveness, and relevance to their job (Andent, 2002). Following a session of training, the participants will be asked to take a “smile sheet” survey on how they felt about it. The Level 2 evaluation of participants’ learning aims to assess if the participant has gained the required information, skills, attitudes, confidence and commitment. At the third and final level, we check to see if our students have internalized the material and are making use of it in their daily lives (Alsalamah & Callinan, 2021).
