To register, voters must apply at least 21 calendar days in advance (Cumming and al., 2019). The application must be completed completely and sent back either by mail or in person. An option to register online is available. The majority of Kansas polling sites are open daily from 7:00 am. Central Time. A voter will still be able to cast a ballot even if the polls close while they are still in line (Hjálmarsson et al., 2018). Kansas voter must show photo ID to cast their ballots. For voting purposes, the following forms of identification can be used: United States passport or driver’s licence or non-driver ID card issued in Kansas, Kansas, or another state or country.
