Ethical Hacking: Exploring the Potential Usefulness of Python Libraries 

Python libraries provide a wealth of useful tools to ethical hackers. Python libraries reduce the amount of manual work required to modify scripts and hacking tools. Instead, they provide easy access to pre-built and optimized algorithms, which can be used for code optimization and reduce development effort. The Scapy Python library by Rahanal (2019) is an example. This library allows hackers create and send packets. They can also capture and inspect request requests. And they are able to decode a large number of common protocols like DHCP (Schwaller 2017, 2017). Scapy has many useful features that can be used to perform a variety of attacks and reconnaissance activities such as brute forcing and port scanning.  Scapy offers many features that reduce the time it takes to develop a hacker’s ethical hacker. Scapy provides ready-made IP addresses and ports objects, which makes it easy to create space for data input. Scapy offers methods to generate entire packets at the same time, which expedites the testing process. The end result is that ethical hackers can perform their tasks more efficiently, thus saving both time and money.   Scapy, a Python library, is incredibly useful for ethical hackers.
