social class diversity and media

By 11:59 p.m., Central, Saturday, Nov. 6, turn in the literature review portion of your project. This is where youll write a narrative based on the academic literature that is relevant to your idea. It also will include a history of the topic with pertinent cases and examples. Also, write your research questions based on your literature review and on your curiosity or hunch about a topic. This is the largest chunk (and most difficult part) of your final project. The literature should be properly annotated in Chicago Style or APA Style. A copy of the APA and Chicago Style Manual is available online via google, if you dont have access to a hard copy of the manual. This is worth 20 percent of your grade. As you already are aware, the expectations for teams of undergraduates are for a final paper of no more than approx. 2,500 words (10 pages) with notation, and the expectations for graduate students are for a final paper of approx. 25 pages (including references) or 6,000 words. The literature review probably will run 3-6 pages or more, depending on the materials you find and which you think are relevant to your topic.

I put our paper pitch in file below. and this was the instruction of our paper pitch below.
Undergraduates in this class need to form groups of 4 people to work  on a research paper or project about  a topic of your choice related to diversity and the media. You may opt to explore some aspect of race or gender in the media by focusing on specific ethnic or racial groups and how they are depicted/represented in certain media or as owners/creators of media, members of gender minorities such as members of  the LGBTQ community, or members of the majority heterosexual community, or you may opt  to explore other forms of diversity and media, e.g., ableism, age, social class, economic class, etc.

Our topic should be more related to mass media.
