The primary purpose of PE is to help students become physically active, learn the value of exercise, and develop healthy habits for life. However, the question remains: does physical education in schools effectively teach students about the importance of physical activity as a human? On one hand, proponents of PE argue that physical activity is essential to overall health and well-being, and that teaching student the importance of exercise in school is critical to preventing future health issues.
