The Intern Goals of Diversity

My goal as an intern would be to seek out diverse viewpoints and experience within my field. It could mean actively seeking out people and organisations with diverse backgrounds and experience, and actively looking for opportunities to understand and learn more about these unique perspectives and challenges. A second goal is to encourage and advocate for human rights and justice in my work as an intern. It could include advocating and supporting policies that ensure equal access for all people, and actively looking for volunteer and community service opportunities that support marginalized and disadvantaged communities. As an intern, I want to increase my knowledge and understanding of the research that is relevant to my work. It could mean staying current on research happening in my area, learning new techniques and methodologies, as well as actively looking for opportunities to use research results to improve my practice. A second goal is to learn and improve my abilities in using and conducting research in my work.
