The Evolution of Technology for Ethical Use: Technology has Changed to Benefit the Good. 

Technology that is ethically oriented refers technology designed to promote and support moral values. Technology that improves society rather than just to benefit financially, gain power, or influence others is called ethical technology. It is technology which puts people’s interests first and not profits, convenience or any other consideration (Salisbury 2018, 2018). This type of technology aims to make everyday life more pleasant, safe, easier and safer for all people, not just those with power or wealth.   Unethical technology, on the other hand, seeks to advance the interests of the wealthy and those in power at the expense and disadvantage of others with less resources. According to Ang, 2020, the purpose of unethical tech is clearly to place certain people in the forefront, depending on their capabilities and resources. The technology seeks to maximize monetary profit, while ignoring the greater good for society.   Overall, ethical technology seeks to make the world better for everyone. The technology is not designed to cause harm, but rather to benefit as many people as it can.
