Equal citizenship is needed for empowerment. They enjoy respect and confidence in the community. It is not possible to authorize or empower anyone else. It is about finding ways to help and support someone in taking responsibility for their own life and taking responsibility (Malik et al., 2021). A state of being where we acknowledge and enjoy our own potential or the potential of others is empowerment. It includes an appreciation for talents, goals, and learning. It can help someone feel valued, encouraged and motivated. It gives a sense of control over life and a sense of direction. Empowerment empowers clients by providing them with the resources they need to bring about change, assert themselves, and gain trust. Empowerment theory focuses on how oppression exacerbates this experience in people who, for various reasons, feel powerless in their lives (Bentz & O’Brien, 2019). It focuses on helping marginalized individuals, groups and communities gain the political, social and personal empowerment they need to improve their lives. You recognize that transformation is not just a process of getting people involved. It requires a shift in perspective, a change in behavior and a greater desire to collaborate, interact and innovate.
