Class B IP address
An IP address is composed of four binary numbers of 8 bits each, divided into four parts. Based on the value in the first octet, the different IP address classes are classified. If the value of the first octet is 128 to 191, an IP address will be identified as a class B address (Rezek 2015). This range includes 163.208.199.8 and it is classified as a Class A address. Class B addresses are further subdivided into two network groups—Part A and Part B. Part A addresses can be found in large companies, while part B addresses are used mostly in smaller businesses.
